It is not tight.

3. Where is it made from?

Our mask is made from a certified factory in China in a sterile environment. The packaging has been disinfected before packing. You can refer to our product page for the certifications.

4. What type of mask is this?

This is a disposable 3-ply single-use medical mask which is ISO13485:2016 (quality control) and EN14683:2019 (international grade) certified. You can refer to our product page here to view the certificates.

5. What is Fluid Resistance?

Fluid Resistance reflects the mask’s ability to minimize the amount of fluid that could transfer from the outer layers through to the inner layer as a result of a splash or spray. ASTM specifies testing with synthetic blood at pressures of 80, 120, or 160 mm Hg to qualify for low, medium, or high fluid resistance. These pressures correlate to blood pressure: 80 mm Hg = venous pressure, 120 mm Hg = arterial pressure, and 160 mm Hg correlates to potential high pressures that may occur during trauma, or surgeries that include high pressure irrigation such as orthopedic procedures. The greater the fluid resistance of a mask, the lower will be the potential exposure to blood and body fluids caused by splashes.

6. How often do I change my mask?

We recommend that you change the mask with each use to maintain excellent hygiene standards.

Change your mask as soon as it feels damp to your skin.

Do not reuse your single-use mask as that will trap germs and bacteria on the inside which  defeats the purpose of wearing a mask.

Avoid touching the masks with your hands when you are wearing it. If you did, disinfect your hands by washing it with soap or alcohol-based hand rub.

7. How do I wear my mask properly?

8. How do I dispose my mask?

To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask); discard immediately in a closed bin; clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

9. Is your mask waterproof?

The exterior of our mask is hydrophobic and repels water droplets.

10. How do I store your mask when I am eating?

We recommend that you bring an airtight container or ziplock bag out with you if you have to go out. Fold your mask in half lengthwise so that the inside of the mask is not exposed. Put it inside the airtight container or ziplock bag when you are having your meals or inside the office.

Please note that we still recommend that you change the mask with each use. Do not use this method to keep your mask to use for several days.

11. What is your mask's expiry date?

The expiry date of our masks is 2 years from the date of manufacturing. Please refer to the label on the box for expiry date.

12. Tips to identify masks which are legit

  1. Product code
Always check that there is a product code indicated on the box of the mask as that provides legitimacy. They can normally be found below the barcode.

  2. Origin
A legitimate and reliable distributor will also indicate the source of the manufacturing factory on the box, or furnish information when asked.

  3. Expiry date
A legitimate mask will always have its expiry date listed on the box.

  4. Certification
Do not believe what the sellers say. Cross check it with any certification they have and ensure that the certificates prove the features that the mask boasts about, eg: fluid resistance, BFE, sterilised factory, and etc.
